Welcome to HotelGuide.Networks' directory of hotels and hotel reviews for Spokane, Washington!

Spokane is the largest city in the Inland Northwest. It is located 110 miles south of the Canadian border and 18 miles from the Idaho border in eastern Washington. Riverfront Park, a 100-acre park, gathering place for the community and site of the World's Fair, is Spokane's centerpiece. Here many events and attractions are held year-round. The 1909 antique Looff Carousel, made of 54 hand-carved horses is the park's prized possession. If the great outdoors is your passion, Spokane has many activities to offer such as skiing, camping, hunting, white water rafting, rock climbing and much more. Spokane feels like a small town, isolated by the mountains of Washington and Idaho, but has a concentration of fine dining, shopping and lodging options that would be found in larger upscale resort areas which attract visitors from all over the world.

As the largest town between Seattle and Minneapolis, and the smallest town ever to host the World's Fair, Spokane has become a cultural oasis in the wilderness. The cold, dry winters make for excellent skiing, and the almost tropical climate of snow-free Gulf stream-warmed Seattle is only a few hours drive west across the Snoqualmie Pass (I-90), even when eastern Washington is hip-deep in snow. Summer is much hotter, drier and dustier than one would expect from the Pacific Northwest, but is great for sunbathing and swimming. The North Cascades Highway, running between Spokane and Seattle provides some of the finest scenery in the country if you have a full long day to devote to it, and virtually any climate is accessible within minutes of the valley of downtown Spokane. The beauty of Vancouver and Canada's British Columbia also are available within a day's drive, making Spokane the best central vantage from which to manage your Pacific Northwest experience.
